JD (UK) Ltd Team hold Macmillan Coffee Morning

The team at JD (UK) Ltd organised a MacMillan Coffee Morning during their recent open days and everyone pitched in to put on quite a spread! A slice of cake and a cup of tea or coffee is something everyone can enjoy

so JD decided to take the opportunity presented by their very well attended open days to try and raise some money for an incredible cause. Sadly, there are very few of us who have not seen Cancer impact our lives or the lives of the people we love in some way. There are few causes which are as worthy as the incredible work of MacMillan nurses. The charity supports Cancer sufferers and their families through some of the most difficult days of their lives. Being able to raise anything towards such a great cause was a real privilege for the team at JD (UK) and offered all in attendance a welcome moment to reflect on what really matters. We can all be caught up in the busy routine of business, so taking a minute to pause and contribute to something, so vital in the lives of others, can be

difficult. However, having a captive audience ensured it was incredibly well supported by all in attendance. JD were delighted to announce £270.67 was raised and hope the partnership with MacMillan will continue in future events. Anyone who would like to support this great charity further should get in touch with MacMillan via their website www.macmillan.org.uk or by phoning 0300 1000 200. You can quickly and easily donate online or by phone and every penny really does make a real difference.
